WordDash (“the App”) is a single-player word puzzle. There is no account to create. This policy explains what information the App and this website use.
Information we collect
- Game progress on device — levels cleared, coins, bonus words, the current puzzle draft, and whether ads have been removed. This stays in local storage on your device.
- Purchases — Remove Ads is processed by Apple. We do not receive your card number. The App only stores that the purchase is active, including after you restore purchases.
- Game Center (optional) — if you are signed in, Apple receives the scores and achievements the App reports: levels cleared, bonus words, and achievement unlocks. We do not receive your Apple ID password.
- Advertising — the free version shows a banner, a video between some rounds, and a rewarded video for an extra play or a hint when coins are short. Unity Ads may use a device advertising identifier, IP address, and coarse device details to deliver and measure those ads. Unity’s policy is at unity.com/legal/privacy-policy.
How we use information
- To run the puzzle, save progress, and restore purchases.
- To show ads in the free version and hide them after Remove Ads.
- To report Game Center scores when you are signed in.
This website
playdashgames.com uses Vercel Web Analytics. That records a page view so we can see which pages are opened. It is not used for advertising, and we do not sell it. Vercel’s policy is at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Children
WordDash is a general word game. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
- Buy Remove Ads to stop the banner and the videos.
- Stay signed out of Game Center if you prefer not to appear on leaderboards.
- Delete the App to remove local progress stored on the device.
