The wheel is the whole puzzle

WordDash does not ask you to type. Every word is a path through one circle of letters, and the crossword above is the record of paths you have already found.

A level gives you a small set of letters, four to seven, arranged in a wheel. You drag from letter to letter. If the path is a word the puzzle wants, it lands in the grid. If it is a bonus word, it changes your time on the rank list beside the board. If it is neither, nothing is kept.

The constraint is the design. You cannot reach for a letter that is not on the wheel, so the puzzle is closed. You can see every legal ingredient. The difficulty is order and memory: which path spells the word that fills the next gap, and which path is only there to improve the clock.

The rank list sits on the same screen as the grid, not on a results page. Time is visible while you are still searching, which is what makes a bonus word feel useful in the moment rather than as a score after the fact.

WordDash is in testing. It is not on the public store, and a release date has not been set.
